Matthias Wagner began their work experience in 2011 at Deloitte as a Professional. Matthias then joined the fischer group in 2013 as a Beteiligungscontroller. In 2016, they were promoted to Head of Corporate Controlling international / Abteilungsleiter Beteiligungscontrolling at the fischer group.

Matthias Wagner earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Controlling, Finance & Accounting from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Dipl. Betriebswirt (BA) degree in Dienstleistungsmanagement - Sportmanagement from Berufsakademie Stuttgart, where they studied from 2005 to 2008.
