John Trissel has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career in 1990 at American Honda Motor Company, Inc., where they worked as a Sr. Accounts Administrator for Honda Power Equipment. In 1996, they transitioned to Ponder Racing, where they served as a Fabricator/Mechanic for a year. From 1998 to 2001, John worked at Genzyme as an R&D Engineering Co-op. In 2002, they joined Facet Technologies LLC as a Staff R&D Engineer and remained with the company until 2013. During this time, they gained experience in research and development. From 2013 to 2016, John worked at Slingshot Product Development Group as a Senior Product Development Engineer, focusing on the design and development of various products for military, industrial, commercial, and consumer applications. Since 2016, they have been employed at Fischer Connectors as a Senior Engineer, where they specialize in designing high reliability cable and connectivity solutions for medical and military applications, as well as custom insert mold tooling. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in product development, engineering, and design.

John Trissel has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they earned from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing from the University of Iowa from 1978 to 1982.
