Luis Juarez has gained extensive work experience in the financial operations field. Luis started their career in 2000 as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, serving until 2006. In 2009, they joined Mar West Real Estate as a Senior Property Accountant, where they performed full-cycle accounting procedures and audited client contracts. In 2013, they joined FirstService Residential in California as an AP Staff Accountant, responsible for corporate accounts payable processing and tax filings. Luis then held various roles within the company, including Revenue Accountant, Revenue Team Lead, and Revenue Manager. In these positions, they oversaw client billing, cash application, collections, and revenue analysis for multiple markets. Their most recent role with FirstService Residential was Director of Financial Operations, where they oversaw accounts payable for the CA and AZ markets and improved the department's NPS scores.
Luis Juarez holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from California State University, Fullerton. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including the Gusto People Advisor certification from Gusto in August 2021, the Quickbooks ProAdvisor certification from QuickBooks Proadvisor CA in July 2020, and the AvidXchange Administrator Certification from AvidXchange, Inc. in April 2019.
