Mike Caldwell, P.E. is a seasoned executive in the electric utility sector, currently serving as Director of Operations for FirstEnergy since January 2022. In this role, Mike oversees a multi-functional unit consisting of 260 employees, managing the operations that serve 324,000 customers across ten centers. Prior experience includes significant leadership positions at PENELEC, where Mike held roles from General Manager Operations to Engineer, directing various teams responsible for Transmission & Distribution operations, line construction, and maintenance. Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from Penn State University and its Erie campus.
