Eric Simon, CPA, is an experienced internal audit manager currently employed at FirstEnergy since July 2022. Prior to this role, Eric held various positions at EY from September 2014 to July 2022, including assurance manager, assurance senior, and assurance staff. Eric began their career at Cohen & Company as an assurance intern in early 2013. Educationally, Eric pursued advanced studies at The University of Akron, earning a Master of Science in Accounting in 2014, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the same institution in 2013.
