Nichola Hiatt is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at FirstCape since May 2024. Previously, Nichola held the position of Director, General Counsel at Jarden Wealth and Asset Management from May 2016 to May 2024, and worked as Director, Legal Counsel within the same organization. Nichola also contributed to the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation as an Executive Board Member from 2013 to February 2023 and served as Legal and Compliance Manager at Murray & Co from April 2014 to May 2016. Earlier legal roles included Senior Associate positions at MDS Law and Anthony Harper, as well as Solicitor at Buddle Findlay. Nichola obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from the University of Otago, following education at Samuel Marsden Collegiate.
