April Ferguson has a work experience spanning several years. In 2006, they founded Dupeo Investments Inc., where they have successfully managed various aspects of real estate development, including acquisition, design, construction, marketing, and sales. Their portfolio comprises a diverse range of projects, including single-family homes, multi-family residential buildings, commercial properties, hotels, and mixed-use developments, with a focus on projects exceeding $100 million. In 2022, April founded FirstBase Skincare Inc., where they currently hold the position of Founder.

April Ferguson completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Calgary. April attended the university from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Marketing Diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Additionally, during the same period, they obtained a Certificate in Interior Design from the University of Calgary.
