Big Sky Law Firm, PLLC was founded in 2002, and the individual worked as the President since then. Prior to that, the individual held various roles in different companies. They worked as an Attorney at Freeman | Lovell, PLLC from June to October 2022, as an Underwriter & Commercial Escrow Officer and Associate General Counsel & Vice President at Backman Title Services from August 2016 to October 2022. They also served as the President-Utah State Counsel at Bay National Title Company from January 2015 to July 2016 and as the Owner-Escrow Officer at Big Sky Title Insurance Agency, LLC from August 2009 to December 2014. Before entering the legal field, they worked as an Account Executive at Beneficial Finance Company from 2003 to 2005.

Big Sky Law Firm, PLLC has a well-rounded education history. They first attended Weber State University from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Economics and a minor in Legal Studies. Following this, they attended The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law from 1999 to 2000 to pursue a Juris Doctor degree in Law. However, they transferred to The University of Montana School of Law and completed their Juris Doctor degree there from 2000 to 2002, with a specialization in Law focused on Bankruptcy, Tax, and Estate/Business Planning.

In addition to their formal education, Big Sky Law Firm, PLLC has also acquired additional certifications. In July 2006, they obtained a certification as a Title & Escrow Officer from the INSURANCE, UTAH DEPT OF. Furthermore, in October 2002, they obtained certification from the Utah State Bar under the name of Joel Kenny.
