Tom Capouch

Market President at First State Bank

Tom Capouch has a diverse work experience in the banking and education sectors. Tom most recently served as the Market President at First State Bank, starting in December 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Instructor at both Dakota School of Banking and Schools of Banking. Tom also held the position of President at The First & Farmers Bank from 1993 to 2017. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Professor of Business at Mayville State University from 1999 to 2012. Earlier in their career, Tom was the Vice President at Northland Financial and the Operations Officer at The First & Farmers Bank.

Tom Capouch has a diverse education history. Tom obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Mayville State University between the years 1979 and 1984. Later, from 1984 to 1985, they attended the Dakota School of Banking. In 1986, they pursued further education at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 1986 to 1990. During the same time, they also attended the Commercial Lending School. In 2015, Tom Capouch participated in the Financial Managers School at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
