Mike Phillips is the current Pastor of Shepherding at First Presbyterian Church of Augusta. Mike previously served as the Rector of The Episcopal Church from January 1991 to December 1998, and the Associate Pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, PCA from January 1998 to December 2003. Prior to their career in ministry, Mike worked in the corporate world as a Plant Manager for Coca-Cola Consolidated from January 1983 to December 1986, and as a Sales Manager for Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated from January 1979 to December 1983.

Mike Phillips has a Doctor of Ministry degree in Organizational Leadership from Covenant Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity School for Ministry, and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Mike'story from Mars Hill University.

They are on a team with John Fender - Pastor of Global Outreach, Ken McHeard - Pastor of Discipleship, and John Franks - Pastor of Worship and Community Life. Mike Phillips reports to Mike Hearon, Lead Pastor.
