Dr. Cornelia (Nel) Wieman has held various roles throughout their career. Dr. Cornelia (Nel) began their work experience as a Co-Director and Assistant Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, from 2004 to 2011. In 2012, they transitioned to private practice as a Psychiatrist / Consultant until 2013 when they joined CAMH as a Staff Psychiatrist. Dr. Wieman also served as the President of the Indigenous Physicians Association of Canada from August 2016 to January 2023, where they focused on supporting and promoting mentorship for Indigenous physicians.
