Beate van Loo-Born is an experienced project manager and board member with a strong focus on regulatory, risk, and compliance changes across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at Climate Arc since January 2023, and holding a position as Member of the Board of Trustees at First Light Southwest, Beate has previously led global business management as COO at SIX and held senior roles at UBS, specializing in strategic programs and operational risk. As the founder and CEO of Born&Borner, Beate provided comprehensive advisory services to financial institutions. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and ongoing doctoral studies in Climate Change Mitigation at Antwerp Management School, alongside various advanced degrees focused on finance, business administration, and management.
