Gage Light has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career as a Healthcare Auditing Technician at Georgia Regional Hospital Atlanta from February 2012 to December 2015. In 2017, Gage joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas as a Sr. Data Scientist, where they worked until October 2018. Afterward, Gage served as the Principal Data Scientist at St. Peter's Health from November 2018 to August 2020. They then transitioned to First Interstate as a Decision Support & Analysis Manager from August 2020 to February 2022, and currently hold the position of Director of Analytics at the same company since February 2022. Alongside their roles, Gage also worked as an Analytics Consultant starting from December 2019, providing consulting services in the data science and data engineering space for various organizations.

Gage Light has a Master's degree in Media Arts and Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Gage also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Georgia State University. Additionally, Gage has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in IT Management from Western Governors University.
