Randy Fernandez has a strong background in web development and software engineering. Randy began their career as a Web Developer at Universidad de Costa Rica in 2014, where they worked on developing websites until 2016. Randy then joined Datalynx Pte Ltd in 2017 as a Web Developer, specializing in front-end and back-end development. During their time there, Randy focused on implementing new features, detecting and fixing errors, and improving performance using the latest technologies and standards. In 2019, they joined Rivet Logic Corporation as a Front-End Developer, where they worked on full projects and small tasks, including bug fixing, feature implementation, and performance improvement. Most recently, Randy worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at First Factory, starting in 2020. In this role, they supervised a team of up to 10 developers to build a web platform for the real estate sector. Randy mentored team members to ensure a better understanding of requirements and fostered a healthy work-life balance and positive relationships within the team.
Randy Fernandez completed their education in a chronological order. Randy attended Colegio San Luis Gonzaga from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachillerato en Educación Media. Following this, they pursued their higher education at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR from 2011 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's degree in TecnologÃa de la información.
Additionally, Randy Fernandez has obtained several certifications. In August 2020, they received a React (Basic) Certificate and a Rest API (Intermediate) Certificate from HackerRank. In August 2021, they obtained an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
