Annie Stettinius has a diverse work experience. Annie currently works at First Descents as a Database & Operations Manager, starting in May 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Finance & Operations Coordinator at First Descents from October 2022 to May 2023. Annie also worked as a Consultant at Zimpatica from January 2021 to June 2022 and as an Associate Consultant from December 2019 to January 2021.

Before their work at Zimpatica, Annie was the Manager of Analytics & Growth at brainchild from September 2018 to May 2019. In this role, they created and implemented SEO and digital marketing strategies, built dashboards to analyze KPIs, and optimized the ecommerce strategy across various marketplaces.

Annie has also gained experience in the outdoor adventure industry. Annie worked as a Trip Leader at Moondance Adventures in multiple periods, managing high schoolers during outdoor adventure sessions and evaluating and mitigating risks in activities such as backpacking, climbing, surfing, and rafting.

Additionally, Annie was a User Growth Analyst at Dirt Road Travels from November 2017 to May 2018. Annie played a crucial role in transforming the company into a profitable service-oriented organization for tourism boards, utilizing skills such as digital marketing, business strategy, forecasting, and account management.

Earlier in their career, Annie worked as an Analyst at Borrowed & Blue, where they implemented a digital analytics strategy and served as a liaison between development and content teams.

Annie's work experience also includes a summer internship as an Engineering/Radar Systems intern at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. in 2015, where they analyzed the Air Force's air refueling training practices.

Lastly, Annie worked as a Cabin Girl at Triangle X Ranch Co in 2014.

Annie Stettinius attended the University of Virginia from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Systems Engineering. In 2013, they also participated in a leadership program at NOLS. In May 2016, Annie obtained a certification in Wilderness First Responder from NOLS.
