Sarah Harmon has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Sarah began their career as a Legal Intern at Wooton Law Firm in 2004 and then worked as an Attorney at Legal Aid of West Virginia and Sarah W. Harmon, Attorney at Law. In 2007, they served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. Sarah later joined West Virginia Public Defender Services as an Attorney and remained there until 2013. During this time, they also worked as a Probation and Pretrial Services Officer at the United States Probation Office. In 2013, they joined First Community Bank and has since held multiple roles, including Vice President & Senior Counsel, Vice President & Corporate Counsel, Senior Vice President - General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, and currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary.
Sarah Harmon earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Behavioral Science and Business from Concord University, which they attended from 2000 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law, completing their studies from 2003 to 2006. Sarah then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from West Virginia University between 2015 and 2017.
