Richard Odior is an accomplished early-stage venture capitalist with extensive experience in investing and advisory roles. Currently serving as an Early Stage VC at Zeal Capital Partners, Richard focuses on companies led by diverse management teams from Pre-seed to Series A. Richard also acts as a Venture Advisor for Mercury, a firm managing over $600 million, and as a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners, which invests in seed stage and revenue-generating companies. In addition to limited partnership roles at First Close Partners and Darkmode Ventures, Richard contributes to the Factor Fellowship's advisory board and serves on the investment committee of the Cap Table Coalition, promoting diversity in venture capital. Richard is also a Course Leader at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and involved with the Cougar Venture Fund at the University of Houston. Richard's educational background includes dual MBA degrees from Northwestern University and London Business School, and a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston.
