Dalius Lapenas currently serves as Director and Head of Platform Security Operations at First Citizens Bank, effective August 2022, within the Enterprise Cyber Security Office. Prior to this role, Dalius held various positions at Barclays from October 2009 to August 2022, including Vice President of Cyber Security Operations, where responsibilities focused on global cybersecurity operations and malware, and roles in network engineering and internet infrastructure design. Dalius's early career includes experience as a Lead Web Developer at AVIRA JSC and a Web Developer at the Lithuanian News Agency ELTA. Dalius holds a Master’s Degree in Information and Cyber Security from Kaunas University of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Computer Science from VILNIUS TECH, alongside further international education in Electric-electronic engineering.
