Deborah Robbins serves as the AML/CFT/BSA Manager at First Carolina Bank since June 2023, following a distinguished career at Mid-State Ventures, LLC, where roles included Director of Operations, Compliance Officer/Director of AML Compliance, and Director of Human Resources and Compliance since January 2002. In these roles, Robbins led operations across multiple locations, conducted AML investigations, developed compliance procedures, and managed human resources functions. Prior to Mid-State Ventures, Robbins gained significant experience as a Senior Bookkeeper at Guardian Holdings, Inc., where responsibilities included general ledger account analysis and management of receivables and payables. Robbins holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned from 1979 to 1983.
