Eric Smith has extensive experience in the legal field, starting as Legal Counsel in claims at FCT from January 2003 to March 2009. Eric then returned to FCT in May 2018 and currently serves as a Senior International Underwriter and Senior Legal Counsel for Corporate Underwriting. Between their time at FCT, Eric worked at the Law Society of Ontario where Eric held various roles including Manager of By-Law Administration Services, Assistant Manager & Counsel for By-Law Administration Services, Assistant Manager & Counsel for Mortgage Fraud, and Investigation Counsel for Mortgage Fraud.
