Steven C Smith has a diverse work experience in the design industry. steven c started their career as a key operator at Kinko's Copies in 1994. steven c then worked at Quik Print/QPR Production as a key operator and pre-press operator from 1995 to 1997. During this time, they also started their own freelance design business called designbysteven.com, where they served as the owner, creative director, and graphic designer.

In 1997, Steven joined The Urban Alternative as a senior graphic designer, where they worked until 2001. In 2002, they joined First Baptist Dallas as the Creative Director and Designer, a position they currently hold. Throughout their career, Steven has showcased their creativity and expertise in graphic design.

Steven C Smith began their education in 1986 at Wiley College, where they studied mass communications until 1988. In 1990, they attended the American Trades Institute and focused on graphic design for a year. In terms of additional certifications, Steven obtained the following certifications: Learning Art Direction, UX Design: 1 Overview, The Five-Step Creative Process, and Logo Trend Report 2022-2023. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn, with the most recent certification obtained in February 2023.
