Yoav Gilat has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and human resources, primarily in the technology industry.

Yoav is currently the Head of Talent Acquisition at Firmbase since March 2023.

From January 2019 to January 2023, Yoav served as the Head of Talent Acquisition and HR advocate for CyCognito. Yoav played a crucial role in the early stages of the company and was responsible for establishing, leading, recruiting, and scaling the entire tech core of the company, including various departments and managerial positions. Yoav also provided HR support, including retention, compensation, and culture-building initiatives.

Prior to CyCognito, Yoav worked at PureTech from February 2013 to January 2019. As the CEO and Co-Founder, they partnered with startup founders to build core teams and scale their businesses. Additionally, Yoav managed a recruitment team and provided hands-on support throughout the hiring process.

From November 2011 to January 2013, Yoav held the role of VP Sales at TestPro. Yoav successfully doubled the company's size within three years while managing sales, recruitment, HR, and administrative teams. Before that, from November 2009 to October 2011, Yoav served as the Business Unit Manager for a technological business group, overseeing a team of over 40 personnel and handling P&L responsibilities.

Yoav began their career at TACT in 2007 as a Tech Recruiter and Jr. Account Manager. Their responsibilities included recruitment, conducting interviews, and maintaining client relationships.

Throughout their career, Yoav Gilat has demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, team building, and HR management in the technology industry.

Yoav Gilat completed their B.A in Behavior Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. In 2011, they also received certification from ISTQB.
