Geri Ewing has a diverse work experience. Geri began their career in 1998 as an Office Manager for IMC Agribusiness. Geri then worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Mount Vernon City School System in 2002 and the Knox County School System in 2005. In 2006, they became a self-employed sub contractor. Geri was then Office Manager for Royster Clark in 2005. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Documentation Control Specialist and Product Development Planner and Executive Assistant for Synapse Wireless, Inc. Geri then became VP Business Development for Firia in 2016 and CEO of Firia Labs in 2017.

Geri Ewing holds a Bachelor's degree from Berry College and has attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
