Scott Smith is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and design. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Ivy Tech Community College since August 2020, Scott teaches courses in Motor Sports Fabrication and Introduction to Motor Sports. In addition to academic roles, Scott holds the position of Senior Product Design Engineer at Firestone Airide, where responsibilities include the design and development of Ride-Rite air helper spring systems for vehicular applications. As Vice President of Design at Smith Motor Works, LLC, Scott specializes in providing custom vehicle builders with unique parts and accessories. Previous experience includes roles as a Design Consultant at GreenLight Collectibles, Industrial Design Engineer at Klipsch Group, Inc., and Mechanical Engineer positions at Johnson Controls and MicroMetl.
