Torsten Knabe is an experienced professional with a diverse background in software engineering, web development, project management, and legislative assistance. Currently serving as an Associate Software Engineer at Fireside since July 2015, Torsten has managed client database imports and developed SQL statements, Python, and Bash scripts. Previous roles include overseeing the launch of 39 websites as a Project Manager and providing support to over 100 clients as an Account Coordinator. Prior to Fireside, Torsten gained significant experience as a Legislative Aide and Correspondent in the Maryland General Assembly, where notable achievements included improving operational efficiency and successfully facilitating legislation. Torsten's career began with various internships, including work with the U.S. House of Representatives and Equality Texas, contributing to public policy and community outreach projects. Torsten holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from The University of Texas at Austin.
