Yoav Bar-Zeev has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2011, they worked as a self-employed 3D Modeler before joining the Israeli Air Force (IAF) in 2011 as a Helicopter Pilot. During their time in the IAF, Yoav also attended academic courses at Ben-Gurion University. In 2013, they transitioned to the IDF - Israel Defence Forces, where they served as a Combat Squad Commander until 2014. After completing their military service, Yoav joined Idomoo in 2015 as a QA Engineer. Yoav later took on roles as a Software Automation Engineer, where they implemented a monitoring system and developed automation tests infrastructures, and as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2021, they became a Solutions Architect at Idomoo. Currently, Yoav works as a Software Engineer at Fireblocks, a position they began in 2022.
Yoav Bar-Zeev pursued their education in various institutions. Yoav first attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2012 to 2013 as part of the Air-Force Flight Academy program. During this period, they studied subjects such as Aerodynamics, Flight Mechanics, Mathematics, Physics, and Meteorology. Later on, they enrolled at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev again, this time from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, from 2018 to 2019, Yoav was also a student at Technische Universität Berlin, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
