Michael Burke has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies and industries. Michael most recently worked as a Sales Director at Fireblocks, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at R3 as a Blockchain Business Development professional from February 2020 to April 2022. Before their role at R3, Michael held positions at Deloitte Ireland, where they served as a Senior Consultant from September 2019 to February 2020, a Consultant from September 2018 to August 2019, and an Analyst from May 2016 to August 2018. Michael started their professional journey as a Summer Analyst at Bank of Ireland Corporate and Markets from May 2014 to August 2015. Additionally, Michael worked as a Player Development Coach at Blackrock College from September 2011 to May 2014.

Michael Burke has a diverse education history. Michael obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management Consultancy from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, where they studied from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at Technological University Dublin from 2013 to 2014. Michael also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from University College Dublin, which they earned between 2010 and 2013. Additionally, they completed their secondary education at Blackrock College from 2001 to 2010.

In terms of certifications, Michael is a Corda Certified Developer, having obtained this certification from R3 in October 2020. Michael also holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from DTTL Global Lean Six Sigma (US), which they obtained in November 2016. Furthermore, they have received the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from WSET in May 2013 and the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines from WSET in May 2012.
