Georges Trope has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Georges currently holds the role of Sales Director EMEA at Fireblocks since November 2021. Prior to this, Georges worked at Intesa Sanpaolo for nearly 10 years, where they held multiple positions. At Intesa Sanpaolo, they served as an Executive Director - Global Market Rates and was responsible for front office sales in Capital Markets. Georges has a proven track record in building a deal pipeline, closing complex sales, and scaling up new markets. Georges also provided CRM and advisory services in Fixed Income Rates to key financial institutions. Before joining Intesa Sanpaolo, they worked at Barclays Capital as Sales - Rates Structured Products and Sales Assistant - Hedge Fund Rates. Georges also gained experience as a Rates Analyst at BlueCrest Capital Management, LLP in 2007.
Georges Trope began their education with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lycée Militaire de Saint-Cyr, which they received in 2000. Georges then pursued further studies and enrolled in Preparatory Classes HEC from 2000 to 2002. Subsequently, Trope attended SKEMA Business School, where they completed their Master's degree in Financial Markets between the years 2002 and 2005.
