Ben Perkins is a skilled Senior Business Analyst at Fire and Emergency NZ since July 2023, previously serving as a Regional Manager at Allied Security from February to July 2023. Prior experience includes nearly a decade in the Metropolitan Police, where Ben held various roles such as Police Sergeant in Specialist Operations, leading a team focused on health and safety management within an armed operational command unit. Additional roles included Police Constable in Specialist Operations, where intelligence gathering and project work were key responsibilities, and Staff Officer supporting the Superintendent for the South West Basic Command Unit. Earlier in the career, Ben was a Police Constable in Front Line Policing, conducting emergency response and criminal investigations. Ben holds a Master of Arts in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford, completed in 2009.
