Sahil Negi, P.Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Stamping & Weld Production Engineering at FIO Automotive Canada Corporation since April 2016. In this role, Sahil oversees the engineering group, manages capital and expense budgeting, and leads resource and headcount planning for multiple welding cells and stamping presses. Sahil has spearheaded significant projects, such as the RX and NX launches and weld optimization initiatives, achieving improvements in quality and sustainability. With previous experience as Assistant Manager and Production Engineering Group Leader, Sahil has developed expertise in process planning and troubleshooting. Sahil holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University and a diploma in Automotive Manufacturing from Georgian College. Sahil is also actively involved in community initiatives, including partnering with Conestoga College and contributing 3D-printed ear protectors to local healthcare facilities.
