Ashok Jothikrishnan has been in the software engineering industry since 1999. Ashok began their career as a Programmer at Laxvel Systems in 1999. Ashok then moved to Scape Velocity Net Solutions in 2000 as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2003, they joined Wipro Technologies as a Technical Lead. In 2007, they joined Infosys as a Technology Lead, Technology Consultant, Technology Architect and Project Manager. During their time at Infosys, they worked in Wachovia, Wellsfargo, Bank of America and Suntrust Bank. In 2014, they joined PROBYS as a Software Developer and was involved in Requirement Analysis, Design and Development of Software Products using the technologies JDK1. 7, JDK1. 8, Spring framework, Spring integration, Hibernate, Weblogic 12c, STS. In 2017, they joined Finzly (formerly SwapsTech) as a Software Architect. At Finzly, they are responsible for product management and customer relations for EXIM STAR [Trade Finance Platform] and FX STAR product suite - eCommerce, Sales and Trading platform for brokers, banks and corporate.

Ashok Jothikrishnan has a Master of Science in Applied Computer Science from the University of West Georgia, which they obtained in 2020. Ashok also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, which they obtained in 1998. Ashok attended SHSS prior to that. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications, the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2013 and Big Data and Hadoop from Edureka in 2014.
