Maggie Paton has a strong background in software development and research. Maggie is currently working at FinThrive as a Lead Software Developer since June 2022 and previously held the role of Senior Software Developer from December 2021 to June 2022. Prior to FinThrive, they worked at TransUnion as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2018 to December 2021. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at Rubixis from November 2014 to November 2018. Maggie also has experience in academia, having worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from June 2013 to May 2014 and as a Teaching Assistant from August 2012 to May 2013. Maggie started their career as a Circulation Aide at the Milwaukee Public Library from November 2007 to August 2012 and also gained experience as an Analytical Intern at Arch Chemicals in June 2010.

Maggie Paton holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Education, and Chemistry at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
