Xav Laumonier has worked in various roles in the software engineering industry since 2006. In 2006, they were a Marketing Assistant and 2D-3D Graphic Designer at Eclatec. In 2007, they were Co-founder and CTO at Spinmedias, where they were responsible for creating an e-publishing solution for online magazine edition. In 2009, they became CTO at Altavia Spindigital, where they developed the Spinsystem platform. In 2010, they were a Freelance Web Engineer at Aenoa Systems, where they were responsible for the specifications, development and release of an ad retargeting platform. In 2012, they were CTO at Nextuser. In 2014, they were Lead Software Engineer at Cisco, where they were responsible for the frontend design, development and maintenance of Stealthwatch Learning Network. In 2014, they were also Technical Project Manager at fifty-five. In 2020, they were a Full Stack Engineer at Chouette. Currently, they are Lead Software Engineer at Fintecture.

Xav Laumonier's education history includes attending Lycée Poincaré from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a High School degree. From 2001 to 2002, they attended Supinfocom Group. From 2002 to 2003, they attended EICAR, where they studied 3D and cinema. Finally, from 2003 to 2004, they attended Isart Digital, where they studied 2D/3D design and post production.
