Santiago D. has a comprehensive work experience spanning various industries and roles over the years. Santiago most recently served as the Chief Product Officer at Fintech Galaxy, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, Santiago worked as the Group Chief Technology and Operations Officer at Y9 Microfinance, where they owned and drove the global technology, product, and operations agenda.

Before joining Y9 Microfinance, Santiago held the position of Middle East MD and Vice President Customer Success at Crayon Data, where they managed the Middle East office and led client engagements in the MEA region. Santiago also oversaw the launch of a digital bank in Africa.

Santiago D. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from UCLA Anderson School of Management, which was obtained from 2002 to 2005. In addition, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Innovation from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile between 2010 and 2011. Santiago also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), which they completed from 1992 to 1998.
