Raghu Sastry

Raghu Sastry has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Raghu is currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at FinTech Automation, where they are responsible for new technologies and product development in the areas of Payments and Compliance. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2022, they worked at The Sastry Group as the Chief Technical Advisor.

In 2019 to 2021, Raghu served as the Director of Engineering at Zeuss Technologies, Inc., specializing in banking and payment services for the Cannabis industry. Before that, they co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer at Zeerow, a startup funded by Galaxia Communications Co Ltd. and YG Entertainment. From 2010 to 2014, Raghu held the position of Chief Technology Officer at JunoWallet, where they played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a leading mobile rewards application with over 4 million users worldwide.

Raghu Sastry also has experience as a Co-Founder and CEO of Junobe Inc., where they developed and launched two mobile applications. In addition, they worked at PMC-Sierra as a Technical Advisor, conducting research on storage industry trends and transitions. Raghu also served as the Director of Architecture at Agilent Technologies, Inc., leading a team of storage and systems architects.

Earlier in their career, Raghu held the position of Director of Product Development at Redswitch, Inc., overseeing the successful delivery of storage interconnect products. Raghu started their career at HAL Computer Systems, Inc. as a Design Manager, where they contributed to the design and validation of the Synfinity Interconnect solution for building scalable CC-NUMA server clusters.

Throughout their work experience, Raghu Sastry has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as product development, IT infrastructure, system architecture, and operations. Raghu has a strong background in the technology industry, particularly in the fields of fintech, banking, and storage.

Raghu Sastry earned a B.E. (Hon.) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, from 1978 to 1983. Raghu then pursued an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, which they completed from 1987 to 1990. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of South Florida, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
