Daniel Lott is an experienced professional in cloud cost management and financial operations, currently serving as Manager I - Cloud Cost Reporting (FinOps) at Datadog since July 2020, where responsibilities include managing reservation discount commitments and maintaining cost reporting tools. As a FinOps Certified Practitioner and Foundation Member of the FinOps Foundation, Daniel has contributed to facilitating training sessions. Previously, Daniel held multiple roles at Under Armour from 2015 to 2020, including Lead Data Analyst and Engineering Manager, focusing on cloud cost optimization and resource management for various applications. Daniel's earlier career at AMD spanned over a decade, where roles ranged from Section Manager to Product Development Engineer, primarily in project management and testing for x86 CPU and APU products. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has completed certifications in Project Management and Agile methodologies.
