Peter Chappell is an experienced investment manager currently working at Finnfund since September 2022, focusing on the origination and management of investments. Prior to this role, Peter served as Head of Forestry Investment at Tilhill from May 2021 to August 2022, and held various positions at Tilhill Forestry, including Forestry Investment Advisor and Senior Investment Forester from November 2013 to May 2021. Peter's career began at UPM, where roles included Senior Forest Manager (Development), Customer Relationship Manager, and Forest Manager from November 2007 to October 2013. Peter also worked as Harvesting and Marketing Manager at the Forestry Commission from September 2005 to November 2007. Academically, Peter holds an MSc in International Forestry from Tampere University of Applied Sciences (2017-2019), an MSc in Forest Protection and Conservation from Imperial College London (2003-2004), and a BSc (Hons) in Forest Management from the University of Aberdeen (1998-2003).
