Derek Keats is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and technology solutions. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Group Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Exipay Technologies, as well as a Co-Founder at Finimo Solutions and Learn-the-Birds, Derek demonstrates a commitment to innovation and education. Derek also owns KENGA Solutions, which focuses on strategic development and regulatory compliance for organizations. Previous roles include Head of Compliance and Business Development at onoConnect, Global Business Development at thumbzup, and significant academic positions as Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University of the Witwatersrand and Executive Director of Information and Communication Services at the University of the Western Cape.
