Mark Winston has a extensive work experience in the engineering field. Mark is currently the Senior Director of Engineering at Lynk, where they are responsible for leading the telecommunications engineering division and developing the core technology for the world's first satellite-based cellular network. Prior to Lynk, Mark was the Owner and CEO of Jarist Inc., a technology and management consulting firm. Mark also worked as the CIO of Fine Point Technologies, where they connected network operators with their customers through device management solutions. Mark's previous experience includes being a Director of Engineering at ST Engineering iDirect, where they played a key role in the software development life cycle and contributed to various areas such as agile development methodologies, product management, system architecture, and recruitment. Mark began their career at McQ Inc. as a Manager of Engineering, leading the development of sensor products. Mark also held roles as a lead architect and system engineer, as well as a hardware and software developer at McQ. Mark started their career as an Engineer Intern at Danaher Motion and has research experience at Virginia Tech College of Engineering and the Center for Power Electronics Systems.

Mark Winston earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech from 1999 to 2003. Mark later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Mary Washington from 2006 to 2008. Mark also attended The Boys' Latin School of Maryland, but no specific degree or field of study is provided.
