Mariusz Gurdek has extensive work experience in the software development field. Mariusz began their career at Banpol S.A. in 2003 as a Software Engineer. Mariusz then moved on to work at P.I. KAMSOFT as a Software Engineer from 2004 to 2007.

In 2007, Gurdek joined Sage and held various roles, including Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Development Team Lead. Mariusz worked at Sage until 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Gurdek worked at BSB (now Vermeg) as a Software Development Team Lead and then as a Java Architect. Vermeg is a software solution provider for financial institutions.

Since 2013, Gurdek has been working at FINEOS as a Senior Software Engineer and is currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer. FINEOS is a global leader in core insurance technology.

Throughout their career, Gurdek has gained expertise and knowledge in various aspects of software development and has held leadership positions in multiple companies.

Mariusz Gurdek obtained their MSc. degree in Computer Science from The Silesian University of Technology from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they also obtained another MSc. degree in Transport - Traffic Engineering from the same university between 1995 and 2000. In addition to their formal education, Mariusz has acquired several certifications. These include Docker from Basic to Advanced from NobleProg in February 2021, Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in December 2013, SpringSource Certified Spring Professional from VMWare / New Horizons Dublin in June 2011, SCWCD from Oracle / New Horizons Dublin in September 2010, and SCJP 6 from Oracle / New Horizons Dublin in March 2009.
