Hugo King-Hall has work experience in two companies. Hugo started their career at Connectedtrips in 2012 as a Graduate/Junior Web Developer, where they were responsible for implementing new features, making improvements, and fixing bugs in the web application. In 2013, they joined FINEOS as a Graduate Software Engineer and later progressed to the role of Software Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at FINEOS.

Hugo King-Hall completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from University College Dublin, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Newpark Comprehensive from 2001 to 2007 and obtained their Leaving Cert.

In terms of additional certifications, Hugo obtained the Site Reliability Engineering Foundation Certification from the DevOps Institute in April 2023. Hugo also received the Docker from Basic to Advanced Certificate from NobleProg in September 2020. Furthermore, they earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020, and in July 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification, also from AWS.
