Luis Porras has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Luis started their career as a Food Server at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in 2011, where they honed their multitasking and teamwork skills. In 2018, Luis joined Martin Petersen Company, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, assisting with daily activities and gaining exposure to virtual construction tools like Revit and AutoCAD. Luis later became a Mechanical Drafter at the same company, taking on projects from concept to completion and utilizing 3D modeling and coordination techniques. Currently, Luis is working at Findorff as a Design Engineer, specializing in virtual construction and contributing to field operations by creating concrete lift drawings and facilitating communication among subcontractors.

Luis Porras obtained an Associate's degree in Architectural Drafting and Architectural CAD/CADD from Gateway Technical College, from the year 2016 to 2021. Prior to this, they earned their High School Diploma from Badger High School, spanning from 2009 to 2013. No specific field of study was mentioned for their high school diploma.
