Chris Nicol is an Electrical Engineer with over a decade of experience in developing collaborative solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Currently focused on hardware development for new DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices, Chris previously contributed as a Firmware Engineer in the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibilities involved electronics design and repair for educational programs, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting in electronic circuits labs. Earlier roles include working as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, designing control systems for forestry industry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from the DeVry Institute of Technology.
