Paolo Bianchi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. In their most recent role at FINCANTIERI S.p.A., they were the Head of Software Applications Management (GST) department. Paolo coordinated a team of 7 people responsible for supporting and maintaining CAD, CAE, PDM, PLM, and ERP systems. Paolo also collaborated with the Corporate IT department for various tasks. Prior to that, Paolo worked at Paul Wurth as a CAD Manager, overseeing engineering software evaluation, procurement, and training. Paolo also managed licenses, maintenance contracts, and designed specific hardware. Paolo briefly took on the role of Senior Piping Supplies Coordinator for a project in Indonesia. Paolo also worked at Fisia Italimpianti - Gruppo Impregilo as a Supplies Coordinator - Piping Specialist, issuing technical purchase specifications and ensuring technical offer alignment. Paolo was also involved in the development and integration of new procedures and software. Paolo started their career at Interprogetti Genova as a Technical Designer, specializing in metal structures and piping design. Paolo also worked as a freelance Technical Designer before joining Interprogetti Genova.

Paolo Bianchi obtained a Diploma from Liceo Scientifico E. Fermi between 1991 and 1995. In 1999, they attended Centro Italiano Formazione for a brief period to earn a CAE Operator certification in Parametric 3D design and stress-analysis. Additionally, from 1997 to 1998, they attended C.P.F.P. A. Spinelli to become a CAD Operator in Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing Process.
