Jyrki Manninen is a legal professional with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Chief Legal Advisor at Finanssivalvonta - Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority since January 2018. Prior to this role, Jyrki held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Danske Bank from April 2017 to January 2018 and at Nordea Bank Finland Plc from August 2007 to March 2017, specializing in Merchant Banking Law and Securities Law. Jyrki began a legal career at the Financial Supervision Authority (Rahoitustarkastus), serving as Legal Adviser from March 2001 to June 2007, with responsibilities in the Market Supervision Department and Capital Markets Department. Earlier experiences include working as an Assistant in Business Law at Helsinki School of Economics and as an Associate Lawyer at Attorneys-at-law Oy Huhtamäki Ab. Jyrki holds an MSc in Finance from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu and an LLM in Banking and Finance Law from the University of Lapland.
