Mathias Lien is an experienced Analyst at Finansinspektionen, where responsibilities include researching financial behavior and leading quantitative derivative modeling since December 2019. Previous roles include participation in the Ideate Program at SSE Business Lab, resulting in a second-place finish for a startup idea aimed at funding climate tech disruptors. Mathias has also served as a Student Associate at Finansinspektionen, contributing to data modeling and visualization related to the Swedish banking sector, and held various positions within Uppsala University’s governance, representing over 40,000 students. Mathias possesses a strong academic background with Master's degrees in Finance and Statistics, as well as a B.Sc. in Economics and Statistics from Uppsala University, augmented by international academic experiences at the National University of Singapore and the London School of Economics.
