Sarah Abood is an experienced leader in the financial services sector, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA), the largest professional association for Financial Planners in the country, since January 2022. In addition, Sarah holds the position of Non Executive Director at The Housing Connection, which focuses on supporting adults with intellectual and other disabilities. Previously, Sarah was the Chief Operating Officer at HOPE Housing Fund Management Ltd, driving initiatives to assist essential workers in home purchasing through shared equity financing. With a robust background in marketing and leadership roles across several financial organizations, including serving as CEO of Profile Financial Services and Director at the Association of Goals Based Advice, Sarah's expertise is further complemented by an MBA from Macquarie Business School and GAICD accreditation from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
