Rick van de Schootbrugge is a seasoned VFX and compositing professional with extensive experience in the visual effects industry. Currently serving as VFX/Compositing Supervisor at Fin Design + Effects since November 2021, Rick has held prior positions including Lead Compositor at Animal Logic and Señor Compositor at Digital Domain. Rick's notable contributions include work on high-profile projects such as The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Mad Max: Fury Road, and multiple Nickelodeon animated series. In addition to technical expertise, Rick has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder and Managing Partner of Comedy Concepts and as the Founder and Executive Director of The Joker Comedy Club. Rick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Effects from Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and additional credentials in Multimedia Design and innovative entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland.
