Juraj Beno has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Juraj is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer at FIMBank plc since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Financial Consultant from May 2019 to September 2021. Before that, they held the role of Director - Performance Planning and Reporting at Al Hilal Bank from January 2019 to April 2019, where they had dual responsibilities as Acting CFO and Business Intelligence/Performance Management lead.

From September 2012 to December 2018, Juraj Beno served as the Head of Group Strategic Financial Planning at Burgan Bank. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the Kuwait head office and five bank subsidiaries. Juraj played a key role in formulating strategic plans, coordinating budgets, and ensuring alignment with the bank's ambitions.

Prior to joining Burgan Bank, they held various roles at Citibank N.A. Kuwait. From March 2009 to August 2012, they served as the Chief Financial Officer, and from May 2007 to February 2009, they were a Finance Manager.

Juraj'scareer at Citibank started in 2002, where they held several positions including US Reporting/MIS/Business Planning & Analyses Country Head, Country Business Planning and Analyses Head, Financial Control Specialist, and Consumer Operations.

Juraj Beno has a strong educational background in finance, banking, and investment. Juraj obtained a Master's Degree in Finance, Banking, and Investment from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave in 2002. In 2011, Juraj earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. Additionally, they completed the Effective Manager course in Managing and Managing People at City University Bratislava, The Open University Business School in 2005.

Juraj has also pursued various additional certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2019, they obtained several certifications including Cybersecurity for Business Specialization from the University of Colorado, Fintech: Foundations & Applications of Financial Technology Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, Six Sigma and Lean: Quantitative Tools for Quality and Productivity Certificate from Technical University Munich, TUM Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and Blockchain for Business Professional Certificate from The Linux Foundation. Prior to that, in 2007, they completed the Citigroup leadership program at Citi. Most recently, in 2020, Juraj acquired the Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp certification from Udemy.
