Andre Chan has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2002. Andre began their career as the Director of Engineering at LogMeIn, Inc., where they were part of the founding team that developed a P2P remote access service. In 2003, they took on the role of Technical Architect, Data Warehouse and Supply Chain Optimization at Peet's Coffee & Tea, where they integrated the Great Plains ERP with a data warehouse and created a Master Roasting Schedule. In 2006, they held the same role at Treasury Wine Estates, where they optimized global wine operations and reduced warehouse inventory by 90%. In 2007, they were appointed Chief Database Architect at Stryker Orthopaedics, where they were also the Chief Privacy Officer for all audits. In 2012, they were promoted to Vice President, Engineering and Vice President, Internet Development and Operations at Church Pension Group. In 2018, they returned to Acme Smoked Fish Corp. as a Consultant, where they were responsible for architecting a new data warehouse and Tableau dashboard reporting. In 2020, they founded and became the CEO of Arima. Finally, in 2021, they took on the roles of CTO at FilmHedge and Consultant at Acme Smoked Fish Corp., where they are currently responsible for System Architect for Infor ERP Migration.
Andre Chan received their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University between 1988 and 1992. Andre then continued their education at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning between 2005 and 2007. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in July 2016, a Scaled Agile Framework: SAFe Program Consultant (SPC4) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2016, and an ITIL Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2015.
